Lessons from Cyberpsychology that Educators Should be Reminded of

In recent years, cyberspace has emerged as a prominent realm for young people, perceived by them at least important real life. Cyberspace become field the satisfaction of many psychological needs and brought to life novel factors that influence development among children youth. As consequence, educational sphere been dramatically affected changes in functions, behaviors, habits students, who are becoming increasingly different from what educators were trained only few decades ago. Causal connections yet be examined experimentally, longitudinal research takes more time. meantime, based on theoretical assumptions psychology sciences, some affect motivation behavior students classroom can assumed. With this being said, following article, using perspective self-determination theory, is aimed understanding students’ motivation, engagement, caused cyber-psychological factors. How attention new generations different? does their involvement learn classroom? do emotional experiences potentially permeate classrooms reflect increased immersion digital world? What most lessons cyberpsychology professionals need aware maximize benefits teaching students? This article attempts provide answers recommendations regarding these vital issues.
